[公告]明日(29) 因場地租用，本館大廳將挪為研討會使用，同時暫停「飛閱台灣-齊柏林紀念攝影展」之影片播放。紀念攝影展正常開放。另因輕颱尼莎即將襲台，若遇台中市政府宣佈停止上班，本館將休館一日。 -

Lecture: Art History in Taichung
每段歷史都需要一個見證，每段故事都需要一位說書人
台中藝術發展的故事，本館邀請台中藝術家俱樂部創會會長謝文昌先生來擔任說書人，與各位分享他與台中藝術家們的切磋遊歷經驗，在談笑風生間，我們將回到那過往歲月，與「美的覺醒」展出藝術家們相遇。 -

Also known as, Tomb Sweeping Day. On this day, families visit the gravesite of their ancestors to show their respect.
If you have time, feel free to visit the museum with your loved ones. -
Gouche in Taichung
Since artist Lin Chi-chu has taught gouche (glow color painting) in National Taichung University of Education and Tunghai University, gouche can sustain and root in Taichung. With Lin's passion and spirit of art education, we will keep doing this!
