This exhibition brings together four distinguished artists from Europe, U.S.A., and Taiwan: Paul Chiang, an internationally recognized master of abstract art; Bill Viola, a pioneer of video art; Arman Fernandez, a leading figure in Nouveau Réalisme and assemblage art; and A Shin, a rising interdisciplinary artist from Taiwan’s Generation X and Y. Each employs a distinct creative language—abstract painting, video art, installation art, and cross-disciplinary experimentation—to present the multifaceted nature of art. Though they differ in generation, geography, and cultural context, they share a common determination to challenge conventions and to remain true to the essence of artistic creation.

From imitation to introspection, from turning away to breaking through, and ultimately to blossoming anew, these four artists trace a path of exploration and liberation in their works.
