2026-7-1 ~ 2026-11-1 Collection in Dialogue: Fantasia between human and nature

Collection is not merely the preservation of time, but a dialogue woven into everyday life. Over the years, Dr. Tsai Chang-Hai, founder of Asia University, has brought important artworks into the campus and museum, transforming private collections into shared aesthetic experiences.

Beginning from this vision, the exhibition brings together the sculptural languages of Dalí, Arman, Hiquily, and Niki de Saint Phalle to explore the relationship between humanity and nature, as well as the many dimensions of life. It also serves as a site of dialogue between the exhibitions Tanahair-Navigating Asianness from Malaysia and Future of Coexistence: A Site of Sustainable Practice, inviting viewers to reflect on contemporary existence across shifting narratives.

At the same time, the groundbreaking of the China Medical University Museum of Fine Arts, designed by Frank Gehry, and the launch of the 2026 International Sculpture Award of the China Medical University – Asia University System, further extend art into more open public spaces. In the future Shui-Nan campus, art and daily life will continue to coexist and reshape the evolving relationship between people, environment, and aesthetics.
